Good blanket for soft surfaces This is a good blanket for soft surfaces because it’s thin…comparable to a flat sheet used for bedding. If it’s going to be used on gravel or rocks, I would avoid it. I use it outside on the dirt or grass while picnicking. It’s similar to what we put under our tent to rest on during camping. It comes with four stakes to secure to the ground. And it folds up nicely into the bag which it’s attached too. The material is really soft too…comfortable to sit on in shorts.
Perfect to keep in a vehicle or a back pack. This is just what I was looking for to keep in the car for picnics and beach trips and itâs large enough for the whole family. It is thin and lightweight but the material is durable; it is similar to hammock material. It works great as ground cover or I also used it as a side wall for our pop canopy at our sonâs sports event.

The material is lightweight, but appears strong and durable and easy on the skin. We plan to use it at the beach at our condo in Destin, Florida. The blanket can be secured with stakes or weights and is easily stored with the carrying case in which it came. I cannot speak as to how easily it sheds sand as I have yet to put it to the test, but I feel confident it will…
