This high-tech nano chiller will keep your water temperature stable despite daily fluctuations in ambient room temperature. At chill solutions we have specifically designed the csxc-1 to be used in a wide variety of cooling applications. The built-in thermostat can be set anywhere from 45F to 90F. Power he a DS, pumps, UV sterilizers and high-intensity lighting all add undesirable heat into the aquarium or hydroponic reservoir. The csxc-1 chiller is perfect for nano tanks, hydroponics setups, and aquariums up to 30 gallons (or more, depending on heat input). the same thermoelectric technology used in this device is used by nasa to generate electricity and maintain equipment temperature in space average temperature reduction: 10 gallons, more than 10F pulldown /// 20 gallons, 5-8f pulldown /// 30 gallons, 2-4f pulldown.

Pricey but worth it! My 13 gallon tank was always running warm. I use LED lights to cut down heat, but the temp never went below 82 degrees, even if the house was air conditioned to 78. I looked at cheaper units but decided to splurge on the Chill Solutions unit. Works great! Temp dropped to a preset 78 degrees within two hours and stayed there. It’s actually a little cooler than 77 and the fish are healthy and happy. Unit is virtually silent except for the fan when it’s running but it’s a soft whir event at full…

Pleasantly surprised. I have a JBJ 28G nano with a metal halide + actinic lights. I am running an SPS tank so I run my metal halides AT LEAST 6 hours and the actinics even longer. My tank was starting to hit 86F when I finally broke down and decided to get a chiller. Most chillers use a compressor of some type and are absolutely massive. I just didn’t need something that huge. All I wanted was a chiller that would bring it down to 83F or lower bare minimum. When I received this unit I set it up right away…

Work better than expected Works wonderfully! My family likes to keep the house between 77 and 80 degrees indoors. With my fish tank lighting and placement of the tank the temperature some times could reach up to 83/84 degrees. I had a heater that could keep the tempature from getting to cold but I didn’t have anything to cool the temperature off when It got too hot. Doing some reading and realizing that I didn’t need to spend a ton of money on some huge cooling system because of the size of my tank (30 gallons) bought…
