Dangerous, worst fuel design ever Had used many lanterns previous was out so bought these, had good reviews. These have standing seams, not a deal breaker. The fuel is a soft wax like, you need to fasten to the wires. The wires get hot and the flaming fuel can fall, still burning. Possible on something flammable like your residence. Pay more get better product 50cent more is worth not having the poor quality and dangerous risk
Flies as advertised Used on a very hot and humid evening so it took longer to take off but they all still performed well. Just light up all 4 corners of the disk and the heat will generate more quickly. I do not suggest for children as the flame is close to your hand while generating enough heat for flight.
