Comfortable practical good looking. Bought a walking stick nearly like this 10 years ago in Switzerland for $60. Everything there was expensive so I have guarded it carefully. Now I have this which is even better since it has the shock feature. The older one can be left in the RV and I use this one for ever day. Easy to adjust and the spring action works great. The cork grip is very comfortable. I recommend.

Then the shock mechanism started offered little to action or deep action in unpredictable times and terrains. What looks at fist glance to be a cork handle appears to be molded plastic.
