Well built and light! I bought this to keep in my car after a recent event when I was caught trying to get my car out of an airport parking lot after a surprise snowfall. The car was plowed in, and had deep drifts around and in front of it. This shovel would have been a great deal easier than trying to kick away the snow and ice in my dress shoes! The shovel seems well built and sturdy when put together. It is very light, disassembles into 4 pieces and fits well in the included pouch. The package only takes up…
Not the best… yet I was super excited to receive this collapsible shovel. It seemed sturdy and robust on first examination. But when I tried it out for the first time this morning on a few inches of snow it did not perform as expected at all. The main problem this shovel has is the head. As you can see in the pictures the front is all scraped up. The shovel doesn’t work unless you are planning on using it on a perfectly smooth and level surface; which asphalt and concrete RARELY are.
