Usually looking ahead requires a good light. In Coleman’s case, looking ahead created a better light. The Colman CPX 6 Classic XL Lantern is powered by rechargeable CPX 6 cartridge(sold separately) or four D cell batteries, you choose (Included). Two modes of light: high, and low. On high you will get 400 lumens, and on low 110 lumens.

Coleman Lantern Exactly as described. Perfect for those times when the power goes out and you need something more than a flashlight!
Nice battery powered lantern This is a great lantern for outdoor or indoor use. It was a little hard pressing in the 3 spots in order to get the insert out of the bottom of the lantern do I could place the 4 D cell batteries in it. I found that the positive end of the batteries needed to line up with the + on the cartridge and the negative touching the – indication. It was easier to snap the cartridge back in place than it was to get it open. We are satisfied with its lighting for the most part, but wish it had a…
