Do not buy this shovel ! The fat metal part you see in the picture on the shaft? – yeah, that one, it’s not big enough. So when you slide it all the way up – your shovel is going to close anyway on your first dig. It could be used to move ashes around in a fire pit, that’s about it. I returned in within 15 minutes of opening the box. Buy yourself a stand US Military Issue E-Tool if you need to do more than build sandcastles with your shovel.The price is right, so some of you will buy one anyway. I did, lol…

Ice and snow shovel This is a replacement shovel for an ice and snow. This is smaller in overall length when folded, than the single fold with wood handled ex-military shovel I loaned to a brother in an emergency.
