Good, Reliable Lantern with Sturdy Case Decent lantern. Case is nice and simple. Mantles are easy to install. It is plenty bright and a cylinder of propane lasts plenty long. I own two of these; one is about 5 years old and I use it for camping–no issues so far.
Go with this lantern if you travel. This is a pretty standard coleman lantern, which is a good thing in my book. The bonus with this one is the plastic case it stows in. We did a 2K mile road trip and camped several times. I liked being able to pack the lantern up in it’s box and stow it in larger containers with anything else and not have to worry about breaking the globe. Easy amd safe to operate! Not many other objects tell of the Americana history of the family camping trip than the obligatory green Coleman lantern! Got this lantern following a few power outages in my neighborhood and love it for car camping as well. So easy to use, and back up mantels are so inexpensive I just keep an extra bag of them in the heavy-duty case that came with the lantern. A pack of matches also fits inside of it.
