Unsure of authenticity but happy anyway. I saw reviews saying it ran small. My son is typically a size 8. An 8 in most things fit him absolutely perfectly. So, i took the “size up” advice and ordered a 10/12. This thing is huge! I have washed and dried this jacket and i dont think it shrank a bit. It is a bit thin but for my particular child, its great. Hes got a medical condition where he can have an anaphylactic reaction if he gets too hot. I really dont know abiut if its fake or not. It has YKK zippers and the rounded edges on the…

Though the 12-18 month is a bit big the size is easily manageable by rolling up the sleeves We tend to purchase a lot of Columbia jackets and fleeces and almost ALWAYS size up. In this case we purchased this fleece for my 5 month old son. He’s a big kid 90% everything (head/weight/height). I purchased both the 6-12 and the 12-18 months and kept the 12-18th month. Fake cheap fleece It’s either fake or really cheap version which is not the one shown. How do I know this? Well I’m glad you asked. As you can see in the pictures I uploaded the font in Columbia is different. The “C” is different as well as the “o”. The real Steens Mt ll Fleece is also thicker and visibly different. It’s not shiny. The real zipper is YCC not YKK. The fake fleece has threads hanging from it in a few locations, the real fleece is better sewn together. I’m sending it back.
