Nice jacket, not as good as Ascender ll I bought this to replace an Ascender ll that was stolen. It fits the same and the shell material feels the same. However it does not have the two internal pockets on each side and there is no elastic in the wrist which helped when taking it and off, once you set the Velcro tab on the wrist you have to loosen it to get it off if it was even barely snug at the wrist.
For fair winters and cool spring days I purchased one size up so I can wear dress shirts underneath. It fits comfortably, blocks wind adequately, and looks nice. Be aware that it does not provide superb insulation in sub-40F weather, so you would still want to bundle up inside or use a different jacket when it’s cold. Otherwise it fits as expected and looks good. Would recommend.
