There is enough room to pack your favorite shaving kit in the extra leg room. Since I was not going to use them for climbing over boulders or rock climbing, I sent them back. Overall a Good Product Overall I’m satisfied with this product. I only have two minor issues to mention which I stress are minor and not deal breakers for me personally. One is that the closure at the waist is not a button or snap, but instead only Velcro. The main closure is Velcro and then there is a secondary closure in the form of a partial sewn in belt that is also Velcro. The design works fine and is comfortable. Finally! Shorter shorts! Great quality. Good fit and color. My guy loves these because he likes shorter shorts and not ones that go clear to his knee–closer to a 6″ rise than a 9″ rise. Shorter shorts are not that easy to find so we’re glad we found these. Columbia products are great quality and these are no exception. The sage color is nice–not too dark and not too light. The fit was just right. I hope they keep making these.
