Satisfied for the price. I did need to break these in, and even then needed a little moleskin on my weeklong trip (just hiking, no backpacking) to Northern California. Held up well to snow and streams. They’re not warm, but they aren’t designed to be warm. My feet get cold < 25 F.

great support around the ankles and excellent grip I’m not an expert hiker or anything; this was my first pair of hiking boots. They fit perfectly and I didn’t get a single blister neither when I climbed a 14,000 mountain nor when I backpacked across Europe. While wearing these boots I felt very stable, great support around the ankles and excellent grip. I was able to use footholds with these boots that wouldn’t be possible with tennis shoes. Overall this is a great boot for beginners. I’ve had them for a few months and they show no signs…

good-looking and sturdy hiking boot This a very light weight, good-looking and sturdy hiking boot. Although not completely waterproof, it is waterproof enough for good hiking comfort. I’ve put over five hundred miles on my pair and they are holding up with little visible wear and tear. I would recommend these boots and will probably buy another pair for next year.
