Lightweight travel shorts – comfort with out sloppiness. These are good casual shorts that are on the fence between pure technical/sport shorts (because they are made from a light weight and quick dry fabric that feels more like the outside of a ski-jacket than cotton or microfiber), but at least in black, don’t look too out of place (or absurdly tacticool) on Main street. Nice option in shorts Why are most men’s shorts so long while women’s are barely there at all? I got tired of the currently typical man’s shorts that rub the back of the knees (annoying for long walks or any prolonged activity). The Columbia Permit II at mid-thigh are the length shorts used to be, and in a light fabric that adds th the comfort.
Size not available any more I bought a pair of these about a month ago and at that time they were $45.00 so a bit pricy but it is so hard to find men’s shorts that are, well, short. I am a little guy and most so called shorts today are just way too long. I like the quality, fit and material of these shorts so I went back to order another pair an now they don’t have my size ! I wear a 32″ waist and now they are only available in a 10″ inseam. You can get a 40″ waist in a 6″ inseam but not a 32″. It…
