Great shoe, but not waterproof I love the shoes, they fit great, (they do run a tad small) look good, and have a great sole with plenty of traction in mucky conditions. The problem is they aren’t even close to being waterproof. I’ve been out in light rain twice, walking the dog mostly on pavement, and have returned with wet toes. I filled my sink with an inch of water and gently splashed the toe boxes making sure to not get water inside the shoe. Sure enough, the toe area was wet after after 30 seconds.

Very Sturdy, Comfortable Hiking Shoe for a great value. I just ordered my second pair they’re that good. I’ve worn the first pair nearly every day for 16 months and the soles are now just about gone. AS PROMISED! Any time a shoe says both “Breathable” & “Water Resistant” I am skeptical. This shoe delivers big time! I live in the Pacific Northwest and hike often in wet, muddy conditions and this shoe GRIPS.I rarely ever have wet socks when I wear this shoe and here is the “kicker”.I have ONE FOOT. Balance, grip, performance is key for me and I recommend this shoe highly even for people with two feet.
