I purchased a slightly bigger waste size (36) I purchased this pants to be used in part as a Cub/Boy Scout leader. The pants was purchased solely based upon the reviews. As per the reviews, I purchased a slightly bigger waste size (36), no 35, which is my preferred size and is not available or made for this style, waste 34 will be cutting it to close. The perfect outdoor or travel pant for folks with an athletic build. Love these pants. They are not baggy but allow lots of flex and stretch. They are tough and quiet. I use them to hunt and for world travel. The waist size is almost dead on, but a little on the small side. My waist is exactly 35.5″, and the 36″ pants fit perfect. If you have an athletic build, these pants will be a great fit and look good. If you have fat legs or big love handles, you may not like the way they fit.
