Smooth, Handsome Shorts These are super good looking shorts with nothing sticking out for a nice streamlined look. In the picture of the Cypress shorts it looks as though the back pockets bulge, but they don’t unless they have something in them. The waist does have some gathered stretch to it, but not like geezer shorts.I bought my husband the Cypress color which is a medium green. Great shorts for hiking/backpacking These shorts are perfect for backpacking. I have an athletic body(size 30 waist), and sometimes find that to get the proper waist size, the thigh section of the shorts/pants is too small. This is not the case here. The size 30 with the 12″ length is perfect. I would not recommend the shorter(10″) length since the 12″ ones already hit just above my knee when I am standing still.The material is very light and breathable.
