Good, but not CRKT’s best. The knife is a little hard to grip, but it and the sheath is great quality. I wish it was a paracord pull and necklace rather than beaded. If you want a better trip, grab one of the other CRKT model neck knives.
My New Favorite Neck Knife The CRKT Civet is my new favorite neck knife. Excellent ergonomics, very handy jimping and finger choil make control very easy for such a small knife. I have used this a lot for lots of purposes and find it holds a great edge but also hones up very easy. 8Cr13Mov is proving to be a very nice steel.
Great little knife As a general rule, I don’t buy knives made in China; I make an exception for CRKT knives. This is a great little knife; mine has a great factory edge. I also like the sheath; it provides great retention of the knife. Since I prefer stealth, the bead chain has been replaced with gutted paracord ( don’t use full strength paracord around your neck, unless it has a breakaway; gutted paracord is plenty strong for supporting any neck knife ); the bead chain/plastic sheath combination is somewhat…
