Serves and protects while you’re doing the same. The Shrill tactical boot knife knows its place on a mission: keeping you and others safe. It’s no wonder this fixed blade has the name it does. With a 4.8″ dual-edged design it seems to pierce anything in sight. Matthew Lerch of Sussex, Wisconsin, has been balancing art with mechanics for over 31 years and he’s raising the bar once again with the Shrill. It’s a back up knife in the field or a go-to knife in the outdoors, on-duty, and everywhere in-between. You’re asked to work in all conditions. You should expect the same from your knife. That’s why the Shrill features a versatile dual-edged design with a lightweight 4.8″ blade. If it weren’t clipped to your boot, you might not even know it’s there. But it makes its presence known when there’s work to be done. We made the Micarta handle tough for all conditions, yet stylish as well with a distinctive two-tone design. After all, just because you’re battling a 4-alarm or a bad guy in the field doesn’t mean you can’t look good while doing it. Just unleash the Shrill from its leather sheath attached to your boot or belt. The task at hand doesn’t stand a chance.

A well designed knife A very nice dagger for the boot or belt. Slim and comfortable. The sheath appears a bit too long for my tastes but it is a good sheath.

… knife I have owned and so far I’m very pleased with it This is the first CRKT knife I have owned and so far I’m very pleased with it. The knife is razor sharp out of the box and the point incredibly sharp. I have no doubt this will do what it’s made for if it comes down to it. The sheath it comes with could be better. It is decent leather, but the blade cut through the sheath from the inside as I was placing back into the sheath. Be very careful with it, especially if you are wearing it in your boot. Comfort-wise you’ll know the knife is…

Low profile This is a nice dagger style knife.
