There’s nothing like a classic. Especially when it honors one. The M16-03S Classic is more than just a re-issue based off the original design of one of our most popular everyday carry blades. It’s a fitting tribute to its founder, Kit Carson, who passed away in the Fall of 2014. Based off the original M16 design, these tactically inspired knives are ready to conquer your civilian tasks. They feature an AUS 8 stainless steel tanto blade that’s tough, holds an edge well and is easier to sharpen in the field than tool steel. It looks great out of the box but even better in action. Use the Carson Flipper to quickly deploy the blade. It’s ready to be called into duty for your daily tasks. Meanwhile LAWKS, the Lake and Walker Knife Safety innovation, sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To engage the safety, push the LAWKS lever forward. To close the knife, pull the LAWKS lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. You’re good to go through anything with the M16-03S Classic. Kit was a winner of countless awards and was a staple of CRKT since our very beginning. These classic designs live on in tribute to his legacy and contribution to the knife community and the industry as a whole. If you want a knife that will be as timeless as the man who designed it, secure your very own M16-03S Classic.

A perfect folder! Love the spear point blade! CRKT M21 and M16 knives have been my go to for over a decade now and I have to say I really like this M21 with the full hilt and flippers on both sides of the blade! I like that this one is made of AUS8 Japanese steel and not the Chinese stuff. That is one of the reasons I went with this one and not the VEFF serrations. All of the new style blades with VEFF serrations are made with Chinese steel. Don’t get me wrong, the new knives are still nice, but I have noticed a higher quality of…

Incredibly well-built, ergonomic, perfectly balanced, razor sharp I have been collecting knives as long as I can remember. Consequently, I am always on the hunt for a new knife to add to the ever growing collection I have amassed. Upon one of my daily searches, this particular knife immediately caught my eye, so I took a closer look into it, did some reading up on the item, and decided to make it the newest addition. Let me tell you something, I could not possibly be any more pleased/happy with the choice in which I made. This is an absolutely incredible…

Better Quality than the M21-14SFG Very happy with the M21-14SF. Seems well made; no detectable wobble in the blade, either open or closed. Opens and closes easily with one hand. With practice, one handed opening approaches that of a spring assisted knife (I have a spring assisted knife from another manufacturer of similar size and weight). One handed closing just takes a little practice. There are videos on the CRKT site and on YouTube that demonstrate the operation of the AutoLAWKS.
