Superb Knife, but know its limitations I got this for my Altoids survival kit. I initially had a classic SAK but this is far superior. It really is tiny but the blade is larger in every aspect and quite solidly built, and has a nice width. As others have mentioned this is not a primary knife, though people use it as a neck knife, this is really and emergency last resort knife. Not a fighting knife, though I suppose in a pinch you can use it for such. The sheath is also nice and minimal and fits tightly so no chance of it falling…
It’s a great little blade When I’m wearing sweats I’ll have this on. It’s a great little blade. I polished it up and sharpened it to slice easily through paper with my Lansky system. I’ve owned it for several months and use it probably twice a day to cut and open things around the home and at work. It is still holding my original edge. I’ve been very impressed with it. I wish it had some cord around the handle but that will be a good rainy day project someday.
Great option when you need something very small Overall I’m pretty happy with this the Ritter RSK. It’s not perfect nor will it replace your primary knife. It wasn’t designed to do that, it’s a last ditch knife so small that you will always be able to have it on you. On that count it succeeds. It comes packed in a green CRKT-branded tin that appears to be the ubiquitous Altoin’s container with a different paint job.
