Typical Columbia, Runs SMALL. As typical for Columbia, RUNS SMALL in waist and hips, legs are okay. I wear a 16 in most pants, I ordered 18 in these and they barely fit. I decided to keep them as I figure for hiking they will be okay.
Great pants unless you’re short. Very comfortable but the small aka short are not really short. I’m 5’3″ and the small not rolled up went to the ground and rolled up were just above my ankle.
Love I sized up only because for that day, the cost was $40.00 cheaper (not now). But it worked out perfect, because the pants run a little small in the waist compared to others I’ve bought. Perfect fit after all. The best summer pants I own now, very nice light weight and well made.
