Weird Fit I ordered these along with some Sandy River “short shorts” that are drawstring waist for hiking and fishing. These fit way better than the drawstring kind, but were kind of tight through the thighs/hips and weirdly loose around the waist–think lots of extra fabric bunched up around the elastic waistband. Super comfy, perfect for brisk, long walks These Columbia Women’s Sandy River Cargo shorts are extremely comfortable, although I’d hardly call them “cargo” since the only cargo-like pocket is large enough for but a tissue and a little loose change. Comfortable and modest shorts I bought these shorts because I need to be comfortable during the hot summer, but not feeling grannyish or like I’m trying to be 18 years old. I am in my 30s and have been looking for comfortable shorts that have a good length but don’t make me feel like I’m dressing too old or too young. These shorts are perfect!
