The axe head on the Condor Tool & Knife Cloudburst Axe is made from forged 1060 high carbon steel and is heat treated and annealed to about 50-55 Rockwell hardness. The natural finish is a bare metal look that has the appeal of a well worn pair of jeans. There is special treatment over the top of the blade to help repel rust. The American Hickory handle is strong and gives the axe an ancient look. The included sheath is made from high quality, heavy duty, handcrafted leather.

Great axe! Very solid forest axe for limbing trees and general bushcraft.
This axe is really really great for bushcraft and it is exellent at chopping. Great axe! First off this axe should have more reveiws on youtube and other websites, and second of all this axe is such good quality, I honestly think that they should raise the price on this axe! I am currently using this axe for bushcraft and it does awesome. Great job Condor!! 🙂
More bang for your buck! Condor makes great products and the Cloudburst is no exception. I saw some early reviews complaining about the blade shape being too thick for bushcraft work. Well apparently Condor took notice and fixed that issue. I researched and found some forums stating as much. So I took a chance and bought one. I am sure glad that I did.
