Great value! One flaw… I love my travel mug! I would have given it 5 stars, but it has one problem – the rubber ring in the lid that makes this spill proof eventually stretches out, making the lid useless! I imagine it’s from all the times I’ve screwed the lid on, but suddenly, part of the gasket ring was popped out, and when I tried to push it back in place, it popped up somewhere else – it’s stretched out. And, I couldn’t find a place to buy replacement rubber rings, so had to order an entire new mug – seems…

Great. Mold does develop under gasket but easy to clean. I would get it a 5 save the mold.Love these cups but be careful of the mold that develops between the lid and the plastic gasket. You don’t see it.. Throw the lid in soapy water with 1/4 white vinegar and let soak for 1 hour, vinegar is a sterilization technique without the bleach. Nice, but not what I expected A solidly-built mug with a nice no-slip grip, but perhaps I misread the description? “The lid has a quarter-turn sealing mechanism which helps prevents against messy spills.” I took this to mean that the lid twisted around to cover and uncover the sip hole. Wrong. It means the lid screws on slightly so it won’t pop off. The sip hole can’t be closed, so the contents will spill out if you jiggle the cup or if it falls over.
