cheap for a reason i usually buy 5-11 becuz of the quality but i was lured away by cqr’s price which is about half.mistake! – – the first time i tried to unsnap the fly, the thing fell apart in me hands – – poor qualityfrom now on, i’ll just wait for 5-11’s bi-annual sales……..lesson learned
Decent for the price, but not up to snuff for heavy use For the price, not bad, but definitely not quite on the same level as the more premium brands.I normally get 5.11 pants, started with being issued some pairs for work and I grew to really like them, and when you find them on sale theyâre a great value for their quality. But even on sale their cheapest pairs are still a bit more expensive than these CQR pants, and itâs not everyday Iâm at a disaster zone, so for day-to-day I figured Iâd give these a shot. They are comparable, but…
Order your size. Wash in cold water I have been wearing these pants in a machine shop 4 -5 days a week 14-16 hrs per shift for the past month. So far they have been great. I ordered a size larger than I wear because previews reviews say they shrink, mine have not shrunk at all! I wash them in cold water. They do have elastic in the waist that helps them stretch. The velcro on the thigh and rear pockets is VERY strong. My only complaint is the “rip stop” material gives them a faint pinstripe look.
