As a veteran, an experienced custom knifemaker, and the youngest member to ever be inducted into the Blade Magazine Hall of Fame in 2008; he’s the real deal when it comes to knives. This one is just another example of Ken’s tight mechanics and comfortable form in a blade that’s ready for your urban law enforcement and professional tactical needs. The 3.5-inch modified drop-point blade has a generous belly and re-curve cutting edge. Precision ground AUS 8 stainless steel and coated with a Black Titanium Nitride finish, it absolutely rips through anything that comes its way. Yet it opens like a well-oiled cutting machine. The IKBS ball bearing pivot system coupled with an InterFrame build style provides fast opening action for the blade with great rigidity. Just push down on the opening flipper with your finger and the blade is called to attention. Then a locking liner engages the blade tang for a solid lock-up. You’ll be safe. If only the same could be said for anything standing in this high-quality folding knife’s way.What truly sets this blade apart though is how it feels when you hold it. The cold-forged aluminum handle of the Foresight is purposefully styled and shaped with swept finger grooves and proper palm swell to provide a confident, comfortable grip no matter what the use. Low Profile, maximum value So far, I’m really happy with this knife. I needed something unobtrusive for EDC and use at work. The low profile clip and matte theme really make it not stand out. When I used the knife today to open a package, the audible shock from the co-worker was hilarious. (“where did THAT come from”). Replacing a long use Cold Steel Gunsite Folder (sadly broken). Hell of a knife for the price. But handle is to slippery in the hand Nice and beefy with blade flipper and very nice lock. It cuts through cardboard like it’s paper. I mean 6 thick layers. One complaint is the handle which is too smooth in the hand can slip out easily. They could have made it a little rough so it wont slip out of hand.
Favorite Low Profile EDC with a Deep Carry Clip Like most of the reviewers, I have numerous EDC knives and what I wear dictates what I carry. My prime directive for EDC knives is too be inconspicuous. That means a deep carry clip so the 1/4 of the blade handle doesn’t stick out of my pocket. With dress pants in the office, I will keep my knife on my right hip inside my waistband and belt.
