It Says Something About You. Just Walk Away. This tactically inspired everyday carry knife with a uniquely etched blade and cord wrapped ray-skin style handle is the true epitome of cool. Designed by Lucas Burnley of Albuquerque, NM, the Obake is an artful combination of a classical knife style built with modern-day materials and techniques. It’s another example of Burnley’s belief that knives are a personal expression of independence. And this one makes a statement when you bring it out for action. A throwback to a classic Japanese Kwaiken design, it features a full tang fixed blade with a unique gray titanium nitride finish that’s acid-etched to give each knife a distinct look. It’s like he made the blade exclusively for you to throw down when the need for utility comes up. The handle has a Katana style nylon cord wrap over a black faux ray-skin for an exceptional and secure all-weather grip. When storms or trouble are brewing, you’ll be ready. The sheath of the Obake is made from glass-reinforced nylon that provides consistent retention even in humid environments. A paracord lanyard on the sheath is designed to attach to your belt loop and keep the sheath in place when you deploy the knife. A skull bead adds a not-so-subtle accent to the paracord lanyard. The Obake isn’t looking for work, but it’s ready to show up looking like a boss when it’s time to get the job done.

SUPER RAZOR SHARP POWERFUL KNIFE WITH KYDEX SHEATH Excellent design and CRKT quality. I have been around since CRKT was basically selling a couple of unique frame locks; and I have seen this knife company grow and enlist some of the great makers. They have become a great company with a lot of super interesting items. One of many are the Japanese inspired array of fixed blades and folders. This is a solid tight and beautiful knife. I plan on using it for the millions of everyday things that I open and always end up using something worthless when…

Light, sturdy, unique First off, I’m an avid hiker. I plan to hike the AT someday, and I wanted a lightweight, but sturdy knife. If you hike, then you know that shedding unneeded weight is very important, and that all you actually ‘need’ is a small knife to cut open a food packet or cut through some summer sausage. I wanted a neck knife personally, so the holes on the sheath are perfect for running a necklace through. I don’t plan to put the belt clip on the sheath and I plan to remove the lanyard from the product…

It keeps my pockets empty which is nice and does not poke out of my shirt If you are searching for a small edc fixed blade that can be worn in pocket or horizontally on belt with minimal printing, this might be for you. I wear mine horizontally on belt by utilizing the J clip which does come with the knife. It keeps my pockets empty which is nice and does not poke out of my shirt. Very comfortable carry, you forget it’s even on. Plus it has that Japanese flair which is cool. And another thing…it is real sharp. I likey
