It took a couple of days to hit 55 degrees but it is my understanding that 55 is perfect for red wine. The unit is very quiet and doesn’t seem to create a lot of heat. Only time will tell as for as the durability but I am very please with the size and style of the unit. It didn’t include a thermometer but I have a remote device that allows me to keep…

Shipping Damage Nice cooler The cooler started right up when I started it yesterday. The packaging was good ; however the door was cracked where the upper hinge attached. This cooler is identical to the one I was replacing. I replaced the door with the one from the old cooler. The door appears to have a good seal and the cooler seems to be cooling fine. I will see if it continues to work well during the next couple of weeks. If it doesn’t I will be returning it.;

Quiet, reliable This unit has chilled wine trouble free for a few years before a power surge killed it. I plan to buy another.Bottle fit is tighter horizontally than vertically. Each row of four can hold 3 normal-sized bottles and one somewhat larger one with a tight fit.It had one odd downside; the interior looks like a powder coating, but is some kind of paint, and it arrived with a stinky paint smell. I had to air it out for a week before putting wine in it.
