This product may have changed I have used these filters through subscribe and save successfully since 2012. A total of ten filters. However, the last two I received have exploded spilling charcoal into my water lines causing me to have to clean out the valves in all of my sinks and toilets as well as the water inlets on my washing machine and water heater. My water pressure is within tolerances. I originally thought I just had a bad run of filters, but noticed that the last two have been labeled differently. All previous…

It was like a miracle We recently moved to the country and have well water. The water softener has special salt for iron, but the water still tasted awful, even with a standard filter in the whole house filter. We switched to these, and the iron and sulfur smell and taste in the water was gone completely. I can drink tap water again! It was like a miracle! I was ready to invest in a 5-gallon water system for drinking water, and these filters saved me the cost and trouble. I *highly* recommend them…

Only sort of NSF certified and a warning This seems like a good filter though I was disappointed by their claims that it is NSF certified. The NSF certification is only on the materials used not on any of the claims about what the filter does. My water does smell better so I’m still giving it a 4 star. I’m uploading photos of the front and back of the product insert if you want to read them. Be careful when you remove the plastic wrap on the filter as there are two washers for the top and bottom that could easily go missing. Also, the…
