Tight for me The top of the sock was too tight for me, so they left indentations in my leg on first wearing. I have been wearing double layer wrightsocks and the socks feel slightly fuller than those, maybe a bit more cushioning on the bottom of the foot. I have never worn wool socks before, I wondered if they would feel scratchy, but they felt fine on my feet, just slightly rough to my hand . The green color is very dark and lovely. 40% Merino wool in this Sock These socks are very well made. Others i looked had only 10% merino wool and that was there bragging headline minus the fact of having only 10%. Danish Endurance post there sock size right inside the top of the sock. I like that.The light sock is rated up to 8.5 shoe size.
