Awesome Sock! (Beware: Sizing is Wrong) Just got my second pair. At first, I admit I was put off by a $20 pair of socks, but they are comfortable, cushy, and wear well… so with the lifetime warranty, I say they are worth it (hence the second pair!)I got my first pair just before our 40th anniversary trip to Italy. Great socks First off, I have been a back packer, hunter, and general outdoorsman fo 30 years. I have worn Thorlo and Smartwool for the past 15 years and these Darn Tough socks are just as good or better. I have been using Darn Tough short running socks for about 6 months and they have held up great after a lot of miles in them so I decided to try these Coolmax crew socks.They fit as expected and are plenty comfortable. Wonderful I bought these for a rim-to-rim-to-rim Grand Canyon backpacking trip. I was carrying a 35 pound pack for most of the 50 or so miles. I went for comfort and lightness on my feet (these socks, Brooks Cascadia 11 trail running shoes and these hiking poles versus hiking boots.
