LOVE THESE- used on 500 mile hike These are perfect for through hikes. Did 500 miles with two pairs and loved them. They’re barely worn and kept my feet dry. I used women’s stocking under these for less friction and noticed that I had less blisters than without. If you’re not walking 7-8 hours a day then you can do without stockings or sock liners. These are really really nice but make sure to try them on with shoes and see if it’s the right sock (you may need thicker or thinner depending on how much space you have left in your…
Fit good- I ordered a size up for 9 1/2 I wear size 9 1/2 shoe and ordered a large in these since I have found out in the past they run a little small.
Love these Darn Tough socks! Love these Darn Tough socks! After trying plenty of hiking socks (and being disappointed by most), I’ve finally found a pair/type that suits my needs. They aren’t too thick (as are most “hiking socks”), but the cushioning on the bottom of the foot is just right. This combination (the “Light Cushion” style) works with my hiking boots so I don’t have to buy boots that are too big just to accommodate my socks. And they are as durable as they claim!
