No Complaints Only bought this (3L) over the other brands (Platypus, Osprey, etc) only because I bought a Deuter bag (SpeedLite 20) and I liked the uniformity of it all. I’ve used this on probably six hikes so far and no complaints. Not much of a plasticky taste at all, and hasn’t failed me yet. Much prefer this to a water bottle in the side pocket.
This is a nice bladder. Slide is super easy to get on … This is a nice bladder. Slide is super easy to get on and off, unlike my Ultimate Direction bladder. I just wish it was easier to dry out. I could turn my UD bladder inside out. This one I have to stick something in it to keep it open for drying.
Excellent Hydration Pack Deuter makes great products. My wife and I have several of their day packs and three Streamer hydration packs. The hydration packs fit perfectly in their backpacks and work great. No complaints! As with any hydration bladder, it’s imperative that they be cleaned properly after each use. This is especially true if you use any type of drink mix in the pack. My wife and son prefer the two liter pack but if I’m going to be out more than 4-5 hours, I personally prefer the three liter version…
