DEWALT DWHT70440 Jobsite Touch Headlamp is great for a hands-free work light when working on a variety of projects. The 104 Lumens are bright enough for all applications. This headlamp has a High/Low setting which allows the user to easily swath from high to low with a turn of a knob. An anti-slip strap keeps the light securely fastened to hard hats with a silicone film on the inside of the head strap. This headlamp features a shatter resistant lens and is water resistant for increased durability. Extended run time allows this unit to run 6 hours 29 minutes on the high setting and 29 hours 43 minutes on the low setting. A durable headlamp that has been rated for a 2 meter drop test making it jobsite tough. Runs on 3 AAA batteries which are included.

Comfortable and effective Despite some other reviewers stating that this headband is not at all comfortable to wear on the forehead, I find it most comfortable. In fact after wearing it outside at night, I came back in and was watching TV when my wife started laughing because I still had it on my head and did not even realize it was still there. I didn’t like this light For the first 6-7 months, I didn’t like this light. It doesn’t have a wide light spectrum, so I’d use a different light (LED). After using several other (LED) lights, I seem to always go back to this DeWalt. The fact is, this light is rugged(but heavy) and well built.
