Well made, troublesome not so loose fit Generally appears to be well made and sturdy, but they have changed the fit. I have worn the Dickies 13″ shorts to work for about a decade and normally buy one or two new pairs every summer. The old style really were “loose fit” plenty roomy everywhere, easy to move in and loose enough to be a little “breezy” on really hot days. New for 2017, the fit is smaller, particularly there is less room in the “seat” of the shorts. Also, the waist of the shorts fit higher on…

Best all around work shorts Ive ever owned. I bought 2 pair of these shorts 3+ years ago, and I’ve put them through daily hard use. Both pairs still hold up and I’m working in a pair right now. I run a pressure washing company, and these things can hold up to the harshest chemicals I’ve thrown at them. I’ve burnt and cut holes in them, and the holes don’t rip.
