Cute and Stylish I really love the style, and so far, everything works great. I’m just concerned about the glass getting hot after the light being on for so long (e.g., is this a fire hazard?, will the glass break easily if too hot?). Nevertheless, I try to make sure to only use this light when I’m awake and can see it. UPDATE: I use this lantern as a desk lamp for my rustic-industrial-looking desk, and the glass is not too hot after it being on for about 8 hours today; the metal is fairly cool as well…
Love it! I got this for our rustic themed living room.I bought just one just Incase I ended up not liking it – now Iâm going to buy the other. Was a little nervous at first when I plugged it in because it wouldnât turn on. I just took the top glass part off and tightened the light bulb and that did the trick!So gorgeous and such a natural-feeling lovely glow.
Love love the lamp but when I read the reviews … Love love the lamp. It really makes the whole room atmosphere so cozy as I have everything in my house rustic. What is also so nice about this lamp is that it’s very dimable like a wide range of lighter/darker. I am getting a second one.UPDATE on the glass issue: so I tried to open it up as if I was changing the bulb – glass broke.
