Ouch. Nice look to the boots. But, and it is a big BUT… they are very uncomfortable. First off they are really narrow. I do not have narrow feet but they are not wide either. I never buy wide width shoes. They are really so uncomfortable across the wide part just below by toes from the big toe “knuckle across to the pink toe “knuckle”. Perfect sturdy boot! I have been searching for a comfortable leather sturdy ankle boot for a long time. These are exactly what I wanted! The toe is broad and comfortable even with my wool socks. The ankle portion is soft and pliable and doesn’t hurt or abrade my ankles or ankle bones. They’re stylish yet obviously not for dressing up—–perfect for my jeans and a nice wool sweater and scarf. I recommend these to everyone.
Painful Heel I live in the PNW and I went to 6 different stores trying to find reasonably priced hiking boots for women.
