It’s a little small, but it does work. I wish it was a bit deeper, it won’t quite close with a Lantus insulin vial in it. I also wish it were a bit wider, I am not able to put three pens in it (only 2). That being said I own two of these units, had one for several years now, and they work great. I have been unable to find anything as good for the price anywhere.

Ronald R. Kinner says:

Nice unit. Really seems to do the job. My wife has some medicine that costs the insurance company $3000 for a 28 day vial and she has been afraid to travel overnight but this lets her keep the medicine at the right temp. Since it runs off a USB connection it can get power in the car and if we are away from power for more than 8 hrs we can plug it into an auxiliary battery.

Elizabeth Krause says:

Easy to carry but must not be in an enclosed … Small and compact. Easy to carry but must not be in an enclosed bag as it needs ventilation. Holds a charge for 8 hours and made traveling in South America possible. It works off a Standard US electrical outlet or a US B port in my car. Recharging takes 3-4 hours and it can be plugged in continuously and used as a mini-fridge. So much nicer than using ice packs in an insulated lunch box. Used the Dyson portable cooler to transport my daily pth injection. Traveled throughout Peru for 18 days…
