Good tool — needs a striker Does what it claims to. Probably one of the better brands of this type of item. It works. Take some time and practice with this — maybe take a look at a few YouTube videos to get friendly with it.
Just like when i was a kid Received my fire starter in the mail today days before projected delivery. Didn’t come in the original packaging, but is the same exact Doan fire starter i got my first year in boy scouts in 1998. Wonderful product, magnesium is a little tough to shave off, as it should be. The harder the magnesium is to shave, seems to be related the more actual magnesium is in the metal composite, allowing faster and a hotter flare up.
