Five star light! Nice inexpensive light. Works well indoors and for puttering around in the yard or shed. The light emitted does not have much throw to it though, a spotlight this is not, maybe 15 yards at best, and that is diffused light only. But considering the price and stated power output Id say it works quite well. Where this thing “shines” is durability. It is tough and waterproof. It also does indeed float. AA batteries (charge lasts longer), cheap, not tiny, easy to find in low light. Great for around the house use. I really like that these are AA instead of AAA. You can easily find AA rechargeables that are 2300mAh, which is 3+ times the capacity of AAAs. Since these flashlights are not super eye-piercingly bright (55 lumens I think), the batteries will last a lot longer than with the super bright AAA flashlights.
Would not use for sea night dives, but for the price a good basic flashlight. I just noticed this has over 3k reviews already, but I already wrote it.
