Working great on sediment, not so much on smell We just had a well dug about a year ago for our new house. Iron content is fairly high out here so you can get a bit of a rotten egg smell from the water at times. Not super bad, but if you put your nose up to the faucet while it is running you get a faint sulphur smell. Was using a Culligan whole house filter with a generic 10 micron filter to catch sediment. Worked fairly well but still had the bit of a sulphur smell. After reading some reviews about carbon filters doing a decent job reducing…

A great item- but buy when the price is low!!!! If you look at the price for one, two, or three, you can see that the pricing structure makes no sense. Currently the listing says one costs $7.47, while 3 cost $40.26. Huh? Also, the pricing listed for one varies from day to day. For example, I first ordered just one (to see the quality) and paid about $5.00. What I got was a two pack, or two filters, for my $5.00. Since I really liked the quality, I decided to order more.
