About knives tool maintenance
1: Rinse with warm water. Can add some detergent,remove the oil, salt,dirt from the cutter thoroughly , such as in the cutting tool rotary parts especially special clean, then rinse.
2: Carefully wipe the cutter with a soft cloth. You can use a hairdryer to blow in cool wind and keep the cutter dry.
3:Oil is injected into the axis of rotation. Use some lubricating oil in moderation, If you’re not careful to get somewhere else, be sure to wipe it clean and keep it clean for the next time.

Also, the proprietary tool fitting to fasten the pivot is unconventional (3 leaf clover?) and no tool is supplied. Screw loose!!! This knife has an amazing blade. Great thickness and comes razor sharp. The handle has a great feel to it. The two stars that are missing from this, would be 5 star, review are with the two screws that came loose. One is the screw that holds the bearings and blade in the handle. The second screw is for the pocket clip which is lost now since it was actually clipped to my pocket when it fell out. I was able to find the spacer with a magnet in the grass.
