Great for warmer weather I bought this to have for late spring/summer/early fall backpacking due to its compact size and weight. This sleeping bag packs down so small I can put this AND my sleeping pad in the sleeping bag compartment of my pack. It gets the job done and is great to use for warmer climates. It is rated to 9 degrees Celsius = 48 degrees Fahrenheit which makes it great for warmer weather backpacking. For $40, this is a great bag.
Lightweight sleeping bag for hot weather This bag is for either hot weather sleeping with limited insulation value or as an inner liner for another sleeping bag. It compresses down about half the size you see in the picture as the compression straps make it somewhat into the size of a Jr. size football. I used it for a 10 day sailing trip sleeping on a strange bed. I unzipped it and used it as a psuedo mattress cover and folded it on top. I am happy with the quality level. The zipper is acceptable but not the absolute best.
