The only thing I would have liked were s couple of internal pockets We bought this to use as a day pack at Disneyland. We needed something lightweight that would hold a change of clothes for my daughter, sunscreen, medications, snacks, and water. It worked really well for that purpose. While not designed for serious trekking, they are great to hold a jacket or sweater and the typical stuff you might need for a day of sightseeing.
