Like the pole. Works similar to an older pole I had. If you don’t tighten the sections you can fold in in your hand when you don’t need it, and release it and have it spring back to shape when you do. The shock cord keeps it together fine as long as your not in soft snow or mud. If you are you can tighten it.

Awesome walking stick Awesome walking stick. I just received it, but by all appearances is a high-quality product at a good price. I recently broke my leg (tib/fib lateral) when a truck hit my motorcycle. My physical therapist yelled at me for leaning too much on my cane.
