Nice comfortable pillow. Very comfortable pillow, at a really nice size. Since it’s made from the same material as my hammock, it doesn’t like to stay in the same spot, unless your head is on it. Move around, and you’ll be chasing it through the night. The addition of shock cord would be great, so you’re able to ‘leash’ it to the ridgeline.
Difficult compression bag, slippery fabric, but washable and comfy The compression sack this pillow comes in is awful – it’s really, really difficult to get the pillow in it (seriously – have had several people try). The fabric is also really slippery, so is probably not ideal for travel in tight quarters – after wrestling it out of its bag and getting it behind my head to try to sleep on a flight, it kept slipping off my shoulder and onto the floor. It works fine for a hammock and is washable, so I made a new compression bag for it and am using that way, but…
Great Addition for Hammock Use I bought this for a backpacking trip to use in addition to my ENO DoubleNest Hammock. The pillow looks great, feels nice to the touch, and overall a nice size when packed/unpacked. The first place I tried it out was just on my couch and it felt uncomfortable, so uncomfortable I considered sending it back.
