Greatest thing I have bought for camping Greatest thing I have bought for camping. I love to canoe camp. Now with canoe camping weight isn’t really an issue. But I love that I don’t have to worry about finding a spot to camp. I can pull off water literately anywhere and find a spot. Its also the most comfortable way to camp in my opinion.
Cant go wrong Camped 3 times in one of these, and they are great. They will hold you, though the first time you get in one you might wonder. After borrowing it from a friend enough times, I finally ordered my own.Other Thoughts:- you can use para cord 550 instead of the straps (lots cheaper) though the cord will stretch on first use- these can get really cold in the winter if you dont have something between you can the hammock other than the sleeping bag as wind goes right through…
Camping Essential About the size of a grapefruit, this hammock always has a place in my pack. It’s lightweight, breezy and comfortable. I love the colors, and how if you so chose, you could purchase additions to use this for hammock camping. Only 4 stars because the straps aren’t included, but I feel like they should be, especially since they are essential.I bought this knowing they would need to be purchased separately, but in the mean time, I attached p-cord to the carabiners with bowline knots.
