The 11.75″ ESEE 6P Black Fixed Blade from ESEE – Our knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for – especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user’s responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

Awesome knife…not-so-awesome sheath ESEE knives have quickly become my favorite. I love the color schemes, durability, design, and quality. They can chop branches and stay pretty sharp…sharpenings aren’t required very often. The blade and handle on the 6P are slightly thinner than those of the ESEE 5, and the knife overall is not as hefty or meaty. Best knife you will ever purchase…period. Always check when buying ESEE knives through vendors not listed on the ESEE knives web site. There are “fakes” out there. I checked up with ESEE prior to this purchase and while not listed with ESEE, they are a legit reseller. Great tough knife. Be aware that the sheath is a belt-clip design not a belt loop style. I am totally happy with this knife. It’s a tough no-nonsense tool, not something that was just made to look pretty in a knife collection. Out of the box the knife was very sharp.The sheath is very durable and the knife fits snuggly. I would have preferred to have a belt loop design instead of the clip-on style but the clip works well.
