but I have also gotten good sparks from lots of rocks I picked up in … Works as advertised, and is a very well thought out tool for starting fires in more than one way. This isn’t the easiest way to start a fire, but it is the least fragile, and is certainly satisfying. Great compact kit I initially purchased this to show scouts the flint and steel method. When I got it, I was quite pleased with the mini kit! Shown in the ad, you get the fire steel and a tin box. You also get a small tips/survival card with good info on it. There is enough room to add a few more things in the tin. I added a small magnifier, some fat wood sticks and a little fiber rope for a birds nest type fire starter. Great purchase.

Not sharp enough to injure your hand or create blisters. Just the perfect angle to run across your ferro rod to create massive sparks. This is a fire making multitool. Easily fits in altoids style tin, leaving…
