Excellent. ESEE – 4 plain edge. I bought this as an emergency survival knife for my wife. It seems big enough and strong enough that it should preform well in most any camp or survival knife tasks. I give four rather than five stars only because of the sheath, and only because of the way it hangs. Like the knife, the sheath is of great quality but it hangs high. I would suggest adding a lanyard to put your hand into in order to keep you hand from sliding down to the knife edge, since the knife holds a keen blade and can be very sharp. This is a quality knife which is very useful…

Esee 4 feels the most solid of the bunch because of its size and thickness but depending on what you plan on using it…
